Your family's stories, told in their own voice
Memory Box is a private family archive of recorded memories. Prepare a conversation with someone close to you, record it on your phone and share it in your Circle's Chronicle.
How it works
Prepare the conversation
Choose who tells the story and what it is about. Memory Box suggests questions — you can change them before you start.
Record
An audio or video conversation of up to 20 minutes, recorded on iPhone. The questions stay on screen while you record.
Review and publish
After the recording you get a transcript, chapters and suggestions for the title, description and cover. You accept, edit or reject each one — then publish the memory to the Chronicle.
Private, among the people close to you
- Published memories are seen only by the people in your Circle. There are no public links.
- The storyteller agrees to the recording and can withdraw that consent later — the memory then leaves the Chronicle.
- You can download a copy of your data and delete your account.
Now in a pilot on iPhone
Memory Box runs on iPhone (iOS 15 or later) and is in a pilot on TestFlight — Apple's app for testing new apps.
A new Circle can be created by people invited to the pilot. Family members join a Circle by invitation: the link opens on iPhone, and the invitation page shows how to install the app.
